Overview
The surface layer has a serious problem of bit bouncing and jumping during drilling, bit failed to achieve effective formation penetration, resulting in low ROP. Conventional downhole motor provided insufficient power output and exhibited short service time.
Solution
Improved DFS1606BU PDC bit (with shock absorption design) +260mm High-torque downhole motor (with shock-resistant components) from DeepFast.
Performance
It has set a new record for the highest daily footage of 619m in a 406.4mm well section in this block. The footage of a single bit in the same well section has increased by 70% compared to the average level, and the rate of penetration(ROP) has increased by more than 50% compared to the average level, significantly shortening the drilling period of large-sized well section in this block.
