DeepFast New Designed Matrix Body PDC Bit Successfully Applied in Medium-hard and Abrasive Formation in Xujiahe Block of Sichuan, China

OVERVIEW

The operator, Great Wall Drilling Company, wanted to increase drilling footage and reduce the quantity of PDC Bits in Xujiahe interval, as all we know, the formation of Sichuan is medium-hard but abrasive, in the special interval from 1300m to 1900m which the compress strength is 12000PSI to 16000PSI. DeepFast designed the Matrix Body PDC Bit (12-1/4” DF1605BU) for the project.
